“The discovery of a wine is of greater moment than the discovery of a constellation. The universe is too full of stars.” — Benjamin Franklin

This is a trusty stand-by for the days that warrant bubbles, but without the special occasion champagne prices.  This non-vintage sparkler provides a multitude of small bubbles and a fruity, toasty, apple and pear mid-palate.

The alcohol is 12%.  The wine is made in the methode traditionnelle of champagnes and fine sparkling wines.  The grape varietal is Chardonnay and sourced from the Savoie region in France.  I purchased this from Seaside Market for $11.  A great value for the price point.  Imported by the Wine Warehouse Los Angeles.

The music pairing is “She Doesn’t Get It” from the Arizona band, The Format from the album Dog Problems.
