Bearboat Pinot Noir 2006

by Nannette Eaton on December 30, 2009

“Electricity is actually made up of extremely tiny particles called electrons, that you cannot see with the naked eye unless you have been drinking.”” — Dave Barry

The Bearboat Pinot Noir was naked hit at the Harlot Household, there was barely enough for seconds. This is a gorgeous ruby color with a medley of berry flavors with a hint of vanilla. The classic pairing for pinot noir is salmon, we like Whole Food’s Parchment Baked Salmon with Lemon & Basil. The music match is “Naked” by the Goo Goo Dolls from the album A Boy Named Goo.

The details 13.5% alcohol. Cork closure. The wine is a blend of Pinot noir with a touch of gamay from the Russian River Valley in Sonoma. The suggested retail is $23 USD. The Wine Library has it in stock for $17. This was a complementary media sample kindly provided by the winery.
