Mendocino Farms Redvine Series 2005

by Nannette Eaton on January 26, 2010

“Nature is trying very hard to make us succeed, but nature does not depend on us. We are not the only experiment.” — R. Buckminster Fuller

Wine Harlots believe in living your values.  Believe in sustainable agriculture, organic, biodynamic?  Then we have a wine for you.  Mendocino Farms Redvine Series 2005 is all three and is a wonderful quaff

too.  It’s a beautiful ruby color, an aluring nose, with soft fruit on palate.  Delicious.

The details: 15.0% alcohol.  Cork closure.  The grapes

are 75% cabernet sauvignon, 12% petite sirah, 13% syrah from Mendocino County from Demeter® certified biodynamic vineyards. The retail price is $25 USD available directly from Medocino Farms website or from select Retailers/Restaurants or Distributors.  This was a media sample kindly provided by the Magnanimus Wine Group.

The music match is “We Work the Black Seam” by Sting from the album The Dream of the Blue Turtles.  Wine Harlots say drink your values. (Trust us, you’ll be glad you did!)
