Lucien Albrecht Brut Rosé

“Love is the delightful interval between meeting a beautiful girl and discovering that she looks like a haddock.”  —  John Barrymore

Lucien Albrecht Brut Rosé Crémant D’Alsace is a lovely pale salmon, with extraordinary bubbles and mousse.  The flavors are light and fresh – peaches, strawberries and nectarines.  It has a very creamy finish with a whisper of yeast.  The perfect pairing is Julia Child’s Bouillabaisse.

The details: 12% alcohol.  The wine is made with 100% pinot noir grapes from the Alsace region in France.  The suggested retail is $23 USD and is imported by Pasternak Wine Imports.  This was a media trade sample generously provided by Pasternak.

The music match is “Tuna Fish” from Emiliana Torrini from the album Love in the Time of Science.  Wine Harlots say if you’re called a haddock – throw the bum out and whip up some bouillabaisse while you listen to Emiliana Torrini and quaff a little Lucien Albrecht.  There’s always more fish in the sea.
