“Don’t walk in front of me; I may not follow. Don’t walk behind me; I may not lead. Just walk beside me and be my friend.”  —  Albert Camus

This is an unpretentious wine.  Unpretentious, utterly delicious.  Unpretentious, casually elegant.  Contemporary.  Modern.  Affordable.  Ideal for impromptu gatherings of friends.  The wine is well integrated with whispers of lemon and a hint of minerals.  The wine will pair well with any light seafood, Wine Harlots suggest a modern twist and pair it with Average Betty’s Fish Taco’s, an inspired combo, if we do say so!

The details: 11.5% alcohol.  Stelvin® screw-cap closure.  Chateau de Jau created a lovely vin de pays from Côtes de Gascogne in France.  Retail about $10 USD.  Imported by Pasternak.  This was a media sample generously provided by Pasternak and Millissime.

The music match is “L’autre nous” by Autour De Lucie from the album Immobile.  Friends don’t let friends drink bad wine.  Stick with us friends, Wine Harlots will never steer you wrong.
