Ochoa Moscatel 2010

by Nannette Eaton on July 9, 2011

“Heard melodies are sweet, but those unheard are sweeter.” — John Keats

Quaffing Ochoa Moscatel is like a dreamy melody that will have you singing it’s praises long after the bottle is finished. This is an exquisite late harvest dessert wine with vibrant aromas of tropical fruit – mango, passion fruit and pineapple. The same flavors continue on the palate with the added notes of nectarines, peaches and apple crumble. The wine is dessert in-and-of itself, but if you want to go all-out, the perfect pairing is Roasted Apricots with Honey Mascarpone. The music match is the sublime “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)” by the Eurythmics from the album of the same name. Drink Ochoa, and you’ll be guaranteed sweet dreams.
