The Crusher Rosé of Pinot Noir 2010

by Nannette Eaton on October 24, 2011

“God gave us memory so that we might have roses in December.” — James M. Barrie

As the days grow shorter, the leaves change color, the temperature drops and the wind whips around you, you might be dreaming of summer holidays by the beach. Open a bottle of rosé and the memories come flooding back. The Crusher Rosé of Pinot Noir 2010 is a great pick with subtle flavors of strawberry and red grapefruit. The perfect pairing is roast chicken – or a great match for the Thanksgiving turkey. The music match is “Sweet Memory” by Melody Gardot from the album Worrisome Heart.

The details: 13.6% alcohol. Cork closure. Appellation:Clarksburg. The grapes: pinot noir with a smidgen of viognier for aromatics. Suggested retail $18 USD, available directly from Don Sebastiani & Sons or select retailers. This was a media sample kindly provided by the winery.
