Lange Twins 2009 CENTENNIAL ZINFANDEL Lodi California

The Lange Twins Centennial Zinfandel is a devilish wine that the Wine Harlots love. It’s an intensely deep red, boarding on black, with rich blackberry flavors and a lush velvety texture. The wine is rich and complex enough to drink without the accompaniment of food, but matching it with a filet mignon would be heavenly. Music match is “100 Years” by Five for Fighting from the album The Battle for Everything.

The Centennial line celebrates the 150 years of the Lange family farming in Lodi, and the century of grape vineyards. Wine Harlots raise a glass to another hundred years. Cheers!

Details: Alcohol 15.2%. Cork closure. Appellation: Lodi. Grape: Zinfandel. Lodi Rules Certified Sustainable. Retail: $60 USD ($48 for Club Members) and is available directly from Lange Twins. The wine was sampled at ZAP Zinfandel Advocates & Producers San Diego Zin by the Bay tasting, admittance was complementary for media members on assignment.
