Innocent Bystander Victoria Pinot Noir 2009

“I, with a deeper instinct, choose a man who compels my strength, who makes enormous demands on me, who does not doubt my courage or my toughness, who does not believe me naïve or innocent, who has the courage to treat me like a woman.” – Anaïs Nin

The Innocent Bystander Victoria Pinot Noir 2009 may not be naïve or innocent, but it is a fresh young thing. This is a bright red wine with flavors of cherries, and a mix of red, black and blue berries. It’s not a classic Oregon pinot, it’s lighter and fresher wine. Great for summer barbaques.  The perfect pairing is Rosemary Lamb Cutlets with Roasted Potato & White Bean. The music match “Her Morning Elegance” by Oren Lavie from the album The Opposite Side of the Sea.
