Sandeman Tawney 10 Year Porto Sandeman Tawny 10 Year Old Port

What wine to pair with dessert? It’s always a bit of a challenge, as most wines don’t have the residual sugar content to stand up to the sweetness. Wine Harlots go to is Sandeman Tawny Ten Year Old Porto, with it’s rich flavors of berries, caramel, vanilla and nuts it’s almost a dessert in it’s self, but today we paired it a slice of Snickers Cake, with the chocolate, caramel and nuts perfectly complementing the Port. Music to complement the Porto? We suggest “Sweet Escape” from Gwen Stefani.

The details: 20% alcohol. Cork closure. Appellation: Porto. Grapes: touriga franca, tinta roriz, tinta amarela, tinta barroca, tinto cão. The actual retail price is in the range of $30 USD, depending on your jurisdiction. This bottle was a media sample provided by Nova Marketing for Pernod Ricard USA.
