And what better way to keep a pinot noir at a respectable drinking temperature than to immerse in the shallow end of the pool? Come on in, the waters fine! (And the wine? Forgetaboutit.)

Ha-ha I remember that day, that pool was ice-cold, but refreshing on a hot day!
“Refreshing” is a great euphemism.
But it was perfect to get a little chill on the vino!
