“Music is the wine that fills the cup of silence.” – Robert Fripp
Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc is a great, dependable white wine. You can pick it up virtually anywhere. (Hey, kinda like a Wine Harlot!) It has a light straw color, a lovely floral nose, with a good flavor profile of tropical fruit and notes of herb. The wine is nicely balanced with a good acid profile. This would be delicious paired with Garlic Chicken with Bow-tie Pasta.
The details. Alcohol content 13%. Screw-cap closure. Appellation: Marlborough, New Zealand. The retail is about $13-16 USD depending on your region and wine purveyor. This was a gift provided by the next-door-neighbor for kitty-sitting. (Will work for wine. Just sayin’.)
The music match is the ten fresh, free singles provided by the Kim Crawford Music Lounge. This mix is the best so far, all of the tracks are outstanding, the one I have stuck in my head is “Evelyn” by Boh Runga from the album Right Here. Amble over and score some fabulous free music. C’mon you know you can’t resist.
